In February 2023, he was signed by the Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs. 20 Lakhs.
Reddy started playing cricket at the age of five.
His father quit his job to support his cricket career concerns about the quality of training offered.
Reddy joined VDCA camps under the Andhra Cricket Association for professional training.
He had significant performances in Under-14 and Under-16 regional tournaments.
In the 2017-2018 Vijay Merchant Trophy, Reddy scored 301 runs in a match against Tamil Nadu.
He excelled in the tournament, ending as the top scorer and with 26 wickets.
In 2018, he played for India Under-19 B team and performed well.
Reddy continued to shine in various other tournaments in 2018 and 2019.
He was named in the Andhra Under-19 team for different tournaments.
