Naga Bharath Daka is the COO and co-founder of Skyroot Aerospace, a company specializing in manufacturing private launch vehicles.
He started working at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) in October 2012, a space research center under ISRO in Thiruvananthapuram, India.
In May 2015, he took on the role of senior product applications engineer at Xilinx.
By August 2018, he co-founded Skyroot Aerospace with Pawan Kumar Chandana, a former ISRO scientist, and others.
Skyroot Aerospace secured $11 million in funding during its Series A round on 20 May 2021.
In September 2021, Skyroot Aerospace became the first Indian start-up to utilize ISRO's facilities and expertise.
