Naba Kishore Das served as MLA from Jharsuguda, Odisha for three consecutive terms - 2009, 2014, and 2019.
On January 29, 2023, he tragically passed away at Apollo Hospital in Bhubaneswar after being shot by Assistant Sub-Inspector Gopal Das.
During college, he was part of SFI before joining OPCC and NSUI, eventually becoming vice president of NSUI in Odisha.
His family ran a mining transportation business in Jharsuguda and Sundargarh in Odisha.
