He began focusing on bowling at nine years old, experimenting with various styles using a tennis ball.
He trained under his uncle Noor Ali Zadran, a former international player for Afghanistan.
Lacking a spin-bowling coach, he learned by watching and imitating Ravichandran Ashwin, Sunil Narine, and Ajantha Mendis from downloaded videos.
He developed into a top-notch spin bowler, mastering variations like the carrom ball and googly.
His List A debut in 2017 saw him take 3 wickets for 'Speen Ghar Region' against 'Band-e-Amir Region.'
He played his first T20 match for Boost Defenders against Kabul Eagles in Afghanistan the same year.
