Manuel Antonio Noriega Morena was born in Panama City, the Republic of Panama.
At the age of 5, he was abandoned by his parents and raised by his aunt, Mama Luisa.
In 1968, he became a Lieutenant of the Panama National Guard.
He was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in 1970.
In 1971, he visited the United States to help secure the release of American crews.
In 1983, he was promoted to General and Commander of the National Guard.
He was convicted and sentenced for various crimes in the US and France.
