Likith Selvaraj, an Indian swimmer, excels in the breaststroke style and has secured numerous medals in both national and international contests.
He began honing his swimming skills at the tender age of 5 and later participated in junior-level swimming championships.
His training stints included the Sports Federation of India’s (SFI) camp in 2017, Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre (BAC), and the Nettakallappa Aquatic Center (NAC).
While in the USA, he competed in the NCAA Division 2 and clinched the 7th spot in the 100-meter breaststroke final at the 19th Asian Games in 2023.
Motivated to enhance his skills, he dedicates 4 hours daily, 5 days a week, to swimming practice and complements it with various adventure activities to boost his flexibility and agility.
JSW began sponsoring him in 2016 through their Sports Excellence Program (SEP), followed by the GoSports Foundation under the Rahul Dravid Athlete Mentorship Program.
To support the swimming community's staff families during the early COVID-19 lockdown in July 2020, he auctioned his 'FINA World Championship Carbon Flex VX' swimsuit.
Transitioning to a vegetarian diet in 2019, he later adopted a vegan lifestyle.
He holds an AUSTSWIM certification as a swimming instructor.
An ardent animal lover, he joined conservationist Paul Rosolie in the Amazon jungle.
